Software system as an alternative for psychological counseling
This research paper presents the results of a project aimed at the design, implementation and evaluation of a proposal for a Knowledge Based System (sbc) for psychological counseling. The need for such a system arises from the demands of today’s society and from the transformations imposed over this professional field. These challenges confront us to the question of whether programming and sbc as an alternate tool for psychological and educational counseling for youths and teenagers. As an answer to said question, the creators of the sbc have developed the theoretical and methodological fundaments to support it. As a technological outcome, the four proposed software tools have been conceived as means that may be employed by both counselors and patients to reach determinate purposes, thus providing a reflection framework in a digital format. The evaluation of the sbc in its monitoring phase proved its functionality by showing the impact of the system in fostering personal growth.
