Intervención neuropsicológica infantil: estudio de caso
El estudio de caso, derivado de la investigación del 2010 sobre rendimiento académico de la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, sede Popayán, grupo Psiedu, se hace sobre un niño de 4 años y 11 meses, al cual se le realizó la evaluación, el diagnóstico y la intervención neuropsicológica. Se le aplicó el test del dibujo de la familia, el checklist para el déficit de atención con hiperactividad, el cuestionario e inventario sobre pautas de crianza, la escala de inteligencia de Weschler para preescolar y primaria WPPSI, la evaluación del desarrollo de las aptitudes básicas para el aprendizaje Valett y la prueba de evaluación infantil. Según dichos exámenes, se determinó un Coeficiente Intelectual (CI) total de 116, lo cual lo ubicó en un rango normal alto. Del mismo modo, se identificaron comportamientos impulsivos asociados a ciertos criterios del trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad (F90.0). Teniendo en cuenta la edad del infante se debe realizar seguimiento a estos comportamientos y a la edad de 7 años hacer nuevamente una valoración que permita corroborar el diagnóstico
