Existen hábitos orales perniciosos y posturas adoptadas durante actividades que se realizan diariamente, que son potencialmente nocivas y pueden influir en el desarrollo de una maloclusión. Esta revisión de literatura tiene como propósito considerar los hábitos que no son evaluados comúnmente por los odontólogos, y para ello se realizó una búsqueda de la literatura actual acerca de dichas actividades, la cual permita detectarlos, corregirlos y evitar que generen daños en el sistema estomatognático.
