Introduction: endodontically treated teeth can be affected by biomechanical behaviors and materials.

Objective: to know the adhesive resistance at the interfaces present between prefabricated fiberglass posts and root subtract, using three self-adhesive cementing agents using the push-out technique and to identify the frequency of adhesive and cohesive failures that occurred.

Method: Endodontic treatments were performed on a sample of 30 teeth and they were divided into three groups of 10 teeth. Fiberglass posts were cemented using Relyx U200, Biscem and Solocem. Aging was carried out by storage at constant temperature (37 ° C) for one month, and four 2mm cuts were made, obtaining three root discs: cervical, middle and apical area, to which the push test was applied until the eviction of the prefabricated post occurred, thus obtaining the adhesive resistance of each sample. Stereomicroscopy analy-sis of the specimens was performed to determine the type of failure after the removal of the post.

Results: in total, 66 samples were evaluated and 24 samples were excluded. Type of failures: Dentin adhesive (60): relyx U200 (13), BisCem (26), Solocem (21); post adhesive (1): Biscem (1); cohesive to dentin (5): relyx u200 (2), Solocem (3). When evaluating adhesive resistance, it was observed that there is no statistically significant difference in coronal third between the cements (Relyx-Biscem, Relyx-Solocem, Solocem-Biscem). There is a statistically significant difference in the middle third: Relyx-Solocem (P = 0.0128), in the apical third: Relyx-Biscem (P = 0.0388), Relyx-Solocem (0.0034). When comparing root thirds of Solocem, a statistically significant difference was found between coronal and medium (P = 0.00001).

Conclusions: The greatest adhesive force was presented in the coronal third and the lowest adhesive force was presented in the apical third. The most common failure was dentin adhesive
