Introduction The lex artis dentistry is the accumulation of precepts and rules to properly treat patients. While dyspraxis refers to malpractice due to incompetence ranging from lack of skill and / or experience, as well as the imprudence or negligence that a dentist can commit in his professional practice.

Objective: It is to determine the association between the lex artis dyspraxics in the ethical-deontological-legal framework of the dental practice in the Venezuelan health system and its bioethical implications and bio-legal ethics in its relation to professional responsibility.

Materials and methods: It is a descriptive, cross-sectional investigation with an intentional sample of 100 dentists through an anonymous, standardized survey with a randomly chosen sample.

Results: in the response of the survey based on the articles of the Code of Dental Ethics, more than 80% of the dentists surveyed were unaware of the content of articles 8,10 and 11 which leads to their transgression. On the other hand, 60% violates the principles of good reciprocity and fellowship in their professional practice stipulated in article 41 and 42. Finally, 70% incurs the practice that transgresses article 81 of the comment code.

Conclusion: In the professional academic training of the dentist it is necessary to strengthen precepts based on bioethical principles to exercise a dental lex artis that does not incur dyspraxical practice that generates legal ethics implications in the practice of dentistry focused on professional responsibility.
