Humanization in the provision of health services
how can it be rethought for dental care services in Colombia?
Humanization is a concept that involves all health service providers who are involved in the direct and indirect care of the patient. Raising awareness and putting it into practice from the different tasks could change dental services in Colombia. Prioritizing the human, knowing concepts such as dignity, autonomy, justice, compassion, otherness, reciprocity and mercy could lead the dental professional to do their job aimed at humanizing the service.
