Introduction: immunodeficiency is the functional alteration of the immune system, which is caused by congenital and / or secondary factors. This dysfunction usually generates not only systemic manifestations, but also at the level of the oral cavity and the perioral area.

Objective: to identify and explain the oral manifestations of immunodeficiency according to the literature.

Methodology: an integrative literature review was carried out, the documents were identified by searching high impact databases; original research, clinical cases, literary reviews and books are selected. No language or publication time restrictions were applied.

Results: Among the most reported oral manifestations are oral thrush, ulcerative lesions, condylomata acuminata, hairy leukoplakia and necrotizing periodontal diseases.

Conclusions: because immunodeficient subjects are more susceptible to suffering from various conditions that could be life-threatening; early identification of oral manifestations is considered essential to facilitate the systemic diagnosis of the immune condition in addition to allowing concomitant treatment of stomatological and systematic manifestations.
