Purpose and Scope

DIXI is an academic publication aimed at disseminating research, reflection, and review articles in the field of law, mainly in the following thematic areas: law and public policy, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, philosophy of law, legal history, private law, and public law. Its target audience includes researchers, research groups, professors, and undergraduate and graduate students in law in Colombia and other countries.

"Trajectory"
DIXI was founded in December 1998 at the Faculty of Law of the Cooperativa University of Colombia, Bucaramanga Campus, as a promoter and disseminator of local scientific activity. In 2009, in its Issue No. 11, it received Indexation by Colciencias in Category C. Since then, the publication has not been interrupted and currently has international projection due to its virtual publication in Open Journal System (OJS) and its indexation in: Dialnet, Latindex, Doaj, Vlex, Clarivate Analytics.
Open Access Policy
All journal content is published in open access under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). NOTE: The journal changed its CC BY-NC-ND license to CC BY in 2019, starting with volume 21, issue 29.

Ethics
The journal and its editorial team promote, through their policies and actions, ethics in research processes, the appropriate use of content protected by copyright, and the quality of the works it publishes, ensuring that the various contributors (editors, authors, and reviewers) interact under principles of academic integrity.
Preservation
DIXI uses LOCKSS and PKP PN to preserve its digital content. LOCKSS enables local backup copies, and PKP PN provides a stable platform for managing and preserving content, ensuring long-term accessibility.
Periodicity
DIXI is published semiannually (April–October). The journal may also publish special thematic issues proposed by the editor, members of the committees, or external collaborators. These may be published as an extraordinary (additional) issue within the volume (the conditions or particularities of special issues will be announced through a specific Call for Papers).
Publication Costs
Submission of manuscripts and the editorial process, if approved, are free of charge; authors do not incur any costs at any stage. The journal is fully funded by Ediciones UCC.

Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest.
