El artículo trata sobre los mecanismos de control estatal y su papel en la mejora de la calidad de los servicios públicos proporcionados por los órganos de autogobierno local. El objetivo del artículo es identificar mecanismos clave de control estatal, oportunidades para mejorar el nivel de los servicios públicos de los órganos de autogobierno local y brindar recomendaciones para mejorar el sistema de control estatal. Se estudiaron diferentes mecanismos de control estatal, incluyendo inspecciones, evaluación de desempeño, auditoría financiera, estándares de calidad, supervisión legal y mecanismos de retroalimentación ciudadana. Como métodos de investigación se utilizaron el análisis contextual, la comparación y los métodos gráficos. La satisfacción con los servicios en los países de la UE estuvo determinada por diferentes áreas de los servicios públicos. El estudio enfatiza la importancia del control estatal para promover la transparencia, la rendición de cuentas y la mejora continua en la prestación de servicios del gobierno local. Los resultados del estudio demuestran formas de optimización de los mecanismos de control estatal por parte de las autoridades públicas para mejorar la calidad general de los servicios públicos. La atención se centra en la necesidad de un control estatal eficaz para aumentar el nivel de satisfacción y bienestar de los ciudadanos a nivel local. Se desarrolló un modelo de implementación integral de mecanismos de control estatal sobre la calidad de los servicios públicos de los órganos de autogobierno local.
