Insatisfacción corporal y calidad de vida en estudiantes adolescentes

Objetivo. Esta revisión sistemática tuvo el objetivo de sintetizar la evidencia sobre la relación entre la insatisfacción corporal y la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (cvrs) en estudiantes adolescentes. Método. Siguiendo la metodología PRISMA, se analizaron estudios cuantitativos en estudiantes de 13 a 18 años de edad, sin restricción de año, en inglés y español. Las búsquedas se realizaron en Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed y Web of Science. Resultados. Se incluyeron cinco estudios que muestran una relación directa: mayor insatisfacción corporal se asocia con menor cvrs. Esto se debe a que una imagen corporal negativa reduce la autoestima, la confianza en sí mismo y el bienestar psicológico. Se recomienda realizar investigaciones longitudinales e incluir variables adicionales para profundizar en esta relación.
