The use of anterior tooth length-width ratio calculation techniques offers a useful new perspective in daily clinical activities. The measurement of the known width and the ideal proportional length of 78% serves as a starting point for the realization of a diagnostic wax-up and the making of a Mock up, as efficient communication tools between the dentist, the patient and the technicians. The present case shows the realization of an aesthetic planning of the anterior superior sector, with the ideal width-length proportional calculation in a patient with severe dental attrition. For this, preoperative photographs and plaster models were obtained, on which proportional planning, the preparation of the diagnostic wax-up and a direct model with bis acrylic resin were carried out. Finally, to restore the anterior teeth, lithium disilicate veneers were made, also following the proportional calculation of the diagnostic wax-up. This mathematical technique, proven in wide-ranging epidemiological studies, offers predictability to the aesthetic results of the anterior superior sector, reducing the difficulty of treatment and increasing patient satisfaction.
