Cooperativismo y Desarrollo is a scientific journal that circulates since 1975 in printed form and from 2016 it is available in electronic format, making use of the Open Jornal System (OJS) platform, currently in version 3.1.1.0.
It is under the modality Open access and Creative Commons license attribution 4.0 international; the articles are arbitrated through a double-blind process, using APA standards sixth edition updated 2018, publishes between 10 or 12 original articles in Spanish, English and / or Portuguese research, review and reflection mainly.
The Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, the third version of a work in progress (published in January 2018) by the Committee on Publication Ethics, embraces the principles of editorial practice and the ethical foundation and good editorial practice.

Cooperativismo y Desarrollo magazine aims to disseminate knowledge in the area of social sciences with a focus on territorial development, alternative economies and other forms of economy (social, solidarity and cooperative economy) always analyzing man and his multiple interactions from the multi, inter and transdisciplinarity, contributing to the generation of scientific knowledge with recognition in the different databases and articulated with the academic and scientific communities of the subject, with projection and international reach.

Cooperativismo y Desarrollo works under the open access policy, which means that all users and those interested in the publications of the journal will find publicly available and free of charge, the contents to read, download, share, print, copy, consult or link the complete texts without the need to process permission to the editors or authors for their respective consultation or disclosure.
Information supplied within bibliographic and evaluative records, data contributed by authors, evaluators or any other journal actor. These data are of confidential use, won’t be delivered to third parties and will be stored on an repository available in the Open Journal Systems.
Authors who submit articles to be published in the journal must fill out the copyright format. With this, the article not only embraces the Creative Commons license “Attribution, NonCommercial, No Derivatives” (BY-NC-ND), but also authorize the articule to be trasnlated and published in the languages considered convenient in order to guarantee its visibility and impact.
Publication costs
Since Cooperativismo y Desarrollo is an Open Access journal, it does not charge any value to the authors in any of the editorial processes and is financed by Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia through Ediciones UCC.
