Depression as the typical teenager psychological disorder

Depression is a disorder that occurs during teenage years and involves sadness, discouragement, persistent loss of self-esteem, as well as loss of interest in usual activities. The problems of lack of economic resources and the increasing social demands needed to accomplish to the pace of modern life, coupled with loneliness and frequent emotional difficulties in establishing lasting and rewarding relationships are some of the depressive disorder’s causes. However, from whole population, young people are currently the most vulnerable to suffer from this disorder type along with others, such as anxiety and alcoholism. Experts point that in most cases a proper diagnosis and an appropriate therapeutic management can be key to a correct approach to this kind of disturbance.
