Focus and Scope

Pensado Psicología (abbreviated title Pensando Psicol.) is an international, electronic, continuous publication, open access scientific journal that focuses on clinical, educational, and social psychology. Empirical, theoretical, and interdisciplinary articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese are welcome, which undergo a rigorous double-blind external peer review process. Its publication is aimed at researchers and incurs no cost to authors.


"Periodicity"

Pensando Psicología has a biannual frequency (April-October). The journal will also publish special thematic issues at the initiative of the editor, committee members, or external collaborators, and they may be published as an additional special issue within the volume.

Open Access Policy
The journal publishes its content under open access without any embargo period. Additionally, all published works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, and their use must comply with these licensing conditions. Authors of articles submitted for publication must fill out a rights transfer form; this means that the text is not only subject to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license but also allows the article to be translated and published in languages deemed appropriate for its visibility and impact. NOTE: The journal changed its CC BY-NC-ND license to the CC BY license in 2021, with the publication of volume 17, issue 1.

Publication Costs
Submitting papers to the journal and their editing process, if approved, are free of charge; there is no cost at any stage for authors. The journal is fully funded by Ediciones Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia.
Preservation
Ingeniería Solidaria uses LOCKSS and PKP PN to preserve its digital content. LOCKSS allows local backups, and PKP PN offers a stable platform for managing and preserving content, ensuring long-term accessibility.

Plagiarism
The possibilities of plagiarism are eliminated through the software TURNITIN.

Ethics
The journal and its editorial team will promote ethics in research processes, the proper use of copyright-protected content, and the quality of the work it publishes through its policies and actions, ensuring that different collaborators (editors, authors, and reviewers) interact under principles of academic integrity.
