Satisfação do paciente no uso dos serviços odontológicos

scoping review dos fatores determinantes desta época

Introdução: incorporar a satisfação do paciente como o objetivo principal das organizações de saúde é cada vez mais importante, pois é o pilar do crescimento profissional do dentista, além de resultar em alto impacto na consulta odontológica. O objetivo deste trabalho é conhecer a importância da satisfação do paciente na atenção odontológica e atualizar os fatores que a determinam.

Métodos: este estudo foi realizado por meio de uma scoping review; foram selecionadas palavras-chave e definidas as bases de dados e estratégias de busca, bem como os critérios de inclusão e exclusão; por último, foi realizada a extração de dados com a ferramenta selecionada.

Resultados: foram incluídos 31 artigos de 19 países; 90,32 % consideram os fatores interpessoais do dentista dentro das principais variáveis; 51,61 % correspondem à qualidade do tratamento; 48,38 %, à conveniência; 45,16 %, às relações interpessoais da equipe; 41,93 %, à gestão da dor; 32,25 %, às facilidades e 29,03 % se referem aos custos.

Conclusões: a satisfação da atenção odontológica está apoiada nos fatores que o paciente percebe nas consultas; os fatores que foram desenvolvidos na década de 1980 continuam vigentes; as relações interpessoais do dentista são o principal fator a considerar e, dentro delas, a comunicação, além do pouco tempo de espera, a adequada gestão da dor e, finalmente, um pagamento justo de acordo com o benefício obtido.
